Orientation
Welcome to the University of Melbourne graduate community, and to this new chapter in your academic and professional career.
The start of a graduate degree is an exciting time; your first foray into a new realm of ideas and skills, and a time to find out about all the new resources, administrative processes and other services that will support you in your study. It can also sometimes seem daunting, particularly if you are returning to study after a long period at home or in the workplace, are new to Melbourne, or if you are a part-time student juggling work, family and study. That's where graduate orientation comes in.
The Graduate Orientation Program will cover everything you need to know, answer your questions, and, perhaps most importantly, connect you to a vibrant and dynamic graduate community. Orientation as a process extends well into the first few months of your degree, so to ensure that you get the best possible start, we strongly encourage you to get involved from the very beginning.
